KITH West Coast Project @ KITH NYC
The KITH West Coast Project depicts two lifestyles - New York City and Los Angeles. Original KITH apparel, as well as collaborative efforts with Stampd and Stance show our development since 2013's East Coast Project.
Three key KITH silhouettes receive a unique reverse panel construction - the Reverse Fulton Hoody ($135 USD), the Reverse Frayed Hoody ($130 USD), and the Reverse Frayed Bleecker Short ($84 USD). Each style is composed of a soft yet substantial 380 gsm cotton French terry, and are flipped inside out thus exposing the terry loops on the exterior. Classic Fulton Hoody traits remain, such as the dual-zip front closure and KITH Flag Logo on the left arm. The Frayed Hoody maintains its raw contour hem, while tonal invisible zipper vents provide a dynamic look. The Frayed Bleecker Short is an updated version of our classic terry shorts, as the hem is frayed for a different aesthetic.
KITH x Stampd apparel arrives in various forms, including the Bomber Jacket ($295 USD). This traditional flight jacket is made from nylon, and features a two-way front zipper, as well as a left sleeve pocket patch with a dual-branded safety pull. Next is the L/S Baseball Jersey ($125 USD), which is an all new menswear-inspired sports silhouette. The front features button-up closures with a crewneck finish. Another sportswear style is the 99 Jersey ($130 USD), which features a mesh body with front and back "99" appliqué.
Accessories are provided by Stance, as KITH offers "WCP" renditions of the Crew Sock ($15 USD) and the Super Invisible Sock ($13 USD). Both are made from a combed cotton-spandex blend and exhibit a marled appearance. "KITH" and "Just Us" branding is seen on both as a strong detail.
Lastly, the keystone of the collection is the set of Ronnie Fieg-designed Asics Gel Sights ($180 USD). The "Atlantic" pair features a deep navy microperforated pigskin suede upper with aqua nubuck panelling. The "Pacific" plays the opposite, as a sand-colored microperforated nubuck upper is paired with navy waxed leather quarter panels. Both pairs feature custom-molded TPU heel stabilizers, as well as debossed KITH logos on the heel wraps. Both pairs are accompanied with three sets of 3M-woven flat laces, "Ronnie Fieg" custom-printed insoles, and an additional set of French terry insoles for comfortable barefoot wear.
The entire West Coast Project by KITH will be available today at 11AM EST at KITH Manhattan (644 Broadway), KITH Brooklyn (233 Flatbush Ave), and online at KithNYC.com. In-store release will be handled on a first come, first served basis.
