Kith Treats partners with the California Milk Processor Board, originators of the got milk? campaign, on an editorial revival of the iconic Milk Mustache advertisements.
Launched in 1995 and officially retired in 2014, the Milk Mustache ads played a special part in a campaign that captured the zeitgeist of the turn of the millennia. The revival pays homage to its predecessor by adopting the precise style, tone and spirit of the original campaign, and featuring modern day variants of the beloved era’s celebrity participants, mirroring got milk?’s affinity for pop culture’s brightest and most relevant stars. Distributed via wild posting across the greater Los Angeles area, the new ads will feature friends of the brand including Bobby Flay, Joan Smalls and Chrissy Teigen.
The partnership is timed with the launch of Kith Treats’ new Latte de Leche, a confection made from sweet cereal milk and flavored with a three-dimensional embossed espresso lollipop, allowing guests to swirl in as much or as little of the serving as they’d like to taste.
The project will also come to life with a collaborative collection of co-branded Kith Treats x got milk? apparel, comprised of four tees and a Champion Reverse Weave crewneck sweatshirt and hoodie.
The Kith Treats x got milk? campaign goes live, and the Latte de Leche and co-branded apparel capsule will be available at Kith Treats shops in Los Angeles, Miami and throughout New York, on Saturday, November 17th. The apparel will also be available on KithTreats.com at 11:00AM EST that day, and at Kith Treats Tokyo on Sunday, November 18th.
