Kith introduces the evolution of our menswear offering with the Spring 2 menswear collection, a transitional offering as late-Spring meets Summer. A range of capsules each offers apparel and accessories in standout custom fabrics and prints, released alongside the debut of 8th St., Kith founder Ronnie Fieg’s collection of original footwear silhouettes in partnership with Clarks.
The season debuts two new custom prints. A floral artwork is seen on the Aster Floral Williams III Hoodie, Vintage Crewneck and Aster Floral Active Short - all of which also showcase the 3D Kith script logo. A custom Moroccan tile artwork is highlighted on the Adler Poplin Hoodie and Poplin Active Short. The custom Kith tile art is also seen on New Era Yankees headwear including the 59Fifty Low Profile Cap and a Bucket Hat.
Also new for the season is the newly developed Jacquard Towel Terry fabric makes its debut on the Graham Polo and Graham Short, rendered in Quicksand, Dusty Mauve, and Elevation colorways. A range of Williams I Sweatpants and Jordan Shorts are offered in our 320 GSM terry with Kith Serif embroidery, and the Windsor Panelled Track Jacket treats the same 320 GSM Terry fabric with a garment dye and wash.
Elsewhere, the Gorman Jacket makes a return, this time with our new Kith script logo on the satin exterior. The Rivington Cargo Pant gets an update for the season in our sandwashed fabric with a garment dye and wash. The Boerum Cargo Short features the cotton poplin fabric seen throughout the collection with a 3D Kith embroidery, and the Harden Mesh Short is our take on a panelled mesh short featuring color blocking and a 3D Kith Serif embroidery. The Benson Quarter Zip Pullover, Sullivan Shirt and the Thompson Camp Collar Shirt are each rendered in cotton poplin fabric and offered with a matching bottom for the option of set dressing.
Our 101 Program returns for the Spring 2 Classics line. Offered twice annually, Kith 101 is the starting point from which we create our product. Items including the SS and LS tees as well as Vintage Crewnecks and Jordan Shorts which are rendered in their most simplistic form, to showcase the inherent quality of the complex garments.
New for Spring 2 Classics are the Tilden LS Polo which is offered in a cabled sweater knit with our Kith Serif embroidery at the front, and the Pique Essex Henley Pullover which showcases a double bonded pique fabric and reintroduces our Gothic K logo. A Heavy Waffle-based assortment (including the Williams III Hoodie, Jordan Short, and Classon Beanies) is treated with garment dye and wash and features our Kith script logo.
Tilden Sweaters, originally introduced as a Monday Program in 2020, make a return for Spring 2 Classics in a cable sweater knit fabric. The JFK LS Tee is reinterpreted with a mock neck ribbing at the neckline; the Fulton Kimono Hoodie features an interchangeable hood and detachable interior; a range of Gardens of the Mind III Crewnecks are seen in an all-over custom print. An overdyed assortment of Williams III Hoodies and Williams I Sweatpants as well as Classic LAX and Quinn tees in the Spring 2 palette round out the Classics offering.
Releasing alongside Kith Spring 2 is Ronnie Fieg’s debut collection of original silhouettes with Clarks - 8th St, which will be an ongoing seasonal category for the brand that begins in April 2021. The name of 8th St is inspired by the location of Fieg's first job in the footwear industry as a stock boy at the age of 13, where he developed his love for Clark's. As he launches his own category with the brand, the name is a nod to his roots and the journey.
The inaugural capsule is comprised of four models, which includes two colorways each of two original silhouettes, the Sandford and Lockhill. The Lockhill takes an athletic approach to a luxury model. The upper is fully crafted from premium suede featuring solid panels for the mudguard, heel, and upper overlays. These panels sit atop a perforated suede underlay and a microperforated ankle designed for a snug comfortable fit. The sole is made entirely from Clark's lauded genuine crepe. The Sandford is driven by a lifestyle approach to luxury as the upper is made from premium micro-perforated suede with solid panels on the toe wrap, eyestay, and ankle. The sole is also made from Clark's genuine crepe and features a leather welt. Deboss branding can be seen on the heel tabs and the lateral side of the panel. Both shoes arrive in custom packaging with three lace options and branded suede hang tags. The boxes feature original illustrated artwork of the towns both silhouettes were named after.
Kith Spring 2 2021 and Ronnie Fieg & Clarks Originals for 8th Street release on April 16th at all Kith shops and 11AM EST on Kith.com, as well as 11AM CET on eu.kith.com.
