Ronnie Fieg & New Balance 2011 15th Anniversary Collection

Ronnie Fieg and New Balance celebrate Kith’s fifteenth anniversary, and fifteen years of the relationship, with the debut of an original silhouette—the 2011. The launch of this first-ever silhouette, as part of the Kith & New Balance 15th Anniversary collection, will be commemorated with the opening of New Balance at Kith, a collaborative store located on the lower level of the Kith West Hollywood flagship.

The 2011 represents the culmination of Ronnie Fieg and New Balance’s fifteen-year relationship, adding a new chapter to their story. After collaborating on more than thirty silhouettes, this anniversary marks the first original New Balance silhouette designed by Fieg. Development began two years ago with the aim of adding a modern, heritage-inspired running model to the brand’s heralded archive. To bring his vision to life, Fieg worked closely with the New Balance team and designer Sam Pearce, who developed the 991v2, a silhouette Fieg reveres. The upper, created from scratch, employs an intricate multi-panel design and is paired with the ABZORB tooling from the original New Balance 2002. The silhouette’s name pays homage to the year Kith was established.

The 2011 is presented in four colorways that represent the evolution of Fieg and New Balance’s collaborative relationship—Bark, Redwood, Leaf, and Sakura. These colorways correspond with the commemorative packaging, which features watercolor illustrations depicting the story of a young Ronnie planting a seed that embodies Kith, watering it over the years and tending to its growth as it flourishes into a towering tree with many branches, flowers, and leaves.

The Bark and Redwood styles are crafted from premium boot leather and feature tonal canvas underlays with tree ring-inspired topstitching. The Leaf and Sakura styles opt for a color-blocked execution, combining premium micro-perforated underlays with pigskin suede panels. All four styles include custom-printed footbeds and three additional lace options.

All four colorways of the 2011 release alongside the Kith & New Balance 15th Anniversary collection. The range is comprised of reimagined technical jackets and shorts, mesh jerseys, headwear, and more.

The collection’s launch will coincide with the opening of New Balance at Kith, a collaborative store located on the lower level of the Kith West Hollywood flagship. The space will carry a curated assortment of men’s and women’s New Balance apparel, collaborative Kith & New Balance collections, a Japanese menswear assortment, and a footwear wall featuring more than 200 pairs of men’s, women’s, and kids’ New Balance silhouettes. The footwear selection will include exclusive colorways of the 99X Series, Made in USA styles, and more, while also serving as an American distributor of New Balance Grey. New Balance at Kith opens Friday, June 26, on the lower level of Kith West Hollywood at 8500 Sunset Blvd.

The Kith & New Balance 15th Anniversary collection, including all four colorways of the Ronnie Fieg & New Balance 2011, will be available exclusively in-store at New Balance at Kith on Friday, June 26, ahead of the global launch on Monday, June 29. The Bark and Redwood colorways of the 2011 are exclusive to this location and will not be released at any other Kith store or online.

The full apparel and accessories collection, as well as the Leaf and Sakura colorways of the 2011, will be available on Monday, June 29, at all US Kith stores, Kith Toronto, and online at 11AM EST/CET/GMT via Kith.com, CA.Kith.com, UK.Kith.com, EU.Kith.com, and the Kith App.
