This launch will culminate in an exhibition and pop-up at Art Basel Miami 2024.
Kith has created an apparel, accessories, and lifestyle collection that channels a similar design approach seen on the BMW M1 and XM. Iconic BMW visual identities were reimagined through the Kith lens—such as the special Kith for BMW roundel logo & M1 logo as well as vintage ads and custom artwork. Cinnabar Red, Vitality Green, and Techno Violet and a variety of Kith Foundational hues are executed across the entire collection.
The apparel combines Kith’s staple silhouettes and custom-milled fabrics with updated interpretations of BMW’s classic iconography. Standouts include the Souvenir Moto Jacket, Kieran Coaches Jacket, Timo Windbreaker and SS Moto Jersey. Premium jackets are seen in Italian leather, double-faced wool, and silky suede executions. The apparel is rounded out with co-branded sweaters, crewnecks, hoodies, rugbys, pants and a range of vintage tees.A large selection of accessories inspired by the BMW lifestyle are also offered. The headwear offering comprises signature and collaborative styles. Signature beanies and caps are updated with co-branded Kith for BMW M1 and Roundel logos. Fitted 59FIFTY caps made in partnership with New Era complete the offering. Car-centric items include leather driving gloves & key rings as well as car plates, microfiber towels and floor mats. This accessory collection also debuts suede Kith for BMW duffle bags and a camera bag.
The accessories are complemented by various lifestyle and home goods—including suede card holders, catchall trays, rugs, tapestries, pillows, mugs, umbrellas, snowboards and more. The offering also features a custom Kith for BMW M1 replica showcasing the Techno Violet colorway, a “Just Us” license plate and custom packaging.
To celebrate the launch of this third chapter, Kith and BMW will host a special one-day pop-up and exhibition at the setting that inspired the color story—Miami, FL. This experience will coincide with Art Basel 2024 and take place on December 6th.
Both brands will be taking over the 7th floor of the 1111 Lincoln Road parking garage, where the 1981 BMW M1 E26 by Ronnie Fieg and 2025 BMW XM Kith Concept will be showcased alongside Ronnie Fieg’s personal collection of rare BMWs. These will include the three cars from Chapter I (1989 BMW M3 E30 by Ronnie Fieg, 2021 BMW M4 Competition Kith Design Study, and 2021 BMW M4 Competition by Kith), both cars from Chapter II (1972 BMW 1602 Elektro by Ronnie Fieg and 2022 BMW i40 M50 by Kith), as well as other never-before-seen models from his collection.
The full collection will be available at the pop-up, which will be open to the public from 11AM - 5PM EST on December 6th, for one day only.
