Nike commemorates Phil Knight's memoir Shoe Dog by taking one of Nike's most iconic models and dressing it in the classic Forrest Gump color scheme and accenting the shoe with a slimmed exaggerated Swoosh. The other two models in this pack also adorn a Peregrine Falcon and Dimension Six logo which were two other names considered by Nike's founders Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman. This model features a leather upper accented with razor-edged leather eyestays and cotton laces. The textile tongue provides a comfortable fit while the Nike-branded tongue tabs ensure added style. Other elements include the leather heel tab pulls, reinforced toe caps, a foam midsole, and a rubber herringbone outsole.
